Edwin Brown received his Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA), where he studied and gained clinical experience in the following fields:
• Japanese acupuncture
• Chinese acupuncture
• Chinese herbal medicine
As a private practitioner he has had experience in treating the following conditions:
| • Allergies |
|
• Migraines |
| • Anxiety |
|
• Neck pain |
| • Arthritis |
|
• Sciatic pain |
• Infertility
|
|
• Shoulder pain |
| • Low back pain |
|
• Some pediatric cases |
In addition to his work in a clinical setting, he has been studying martial arts over the past 12 years. This has deepened his understanding of how energy (Ki) flows throughout the body. The concept of Ki is central to both fighting and healing arts.
The purpose of each is to achieve and maintain harmony. Understanding how to work with each case as an individual, whether it be through the healing arts or the martial arts, is crucial to the outcome of the session.
This combination of disciplines has given Edwin a broader perspective of health and how to help the individual patient achieve a better state of well-being.
